The activity of the volcano has remained essentially unchanged characterized by effusive-explosive eruption. IGEPN reported that the lava flow on the northeast flank remains active, currently about 400 m long.
Incandescence is visible from the crater and caused hot avalanches of blocks sliding down the southwest flank that reached approx. 600 m.
Near-constant ash emissions reached up to 15,000 ft (4,600 m) altitude and drifted W. It also produced pyroclastic flows that traveled over the upper slopes, as can be seen in the image.
